Rental period and arrival/departure
In high season, the minimum rental period is usually one week. Shorter rental periods can be agreed individually. During the lower season, the cottage can be rented also for 2-3 days, but not less than 2 days. For weekly groups in high season, the day of arrival/departure is Saturday. Arrival time is no earlier than 16:00 and departure is no later than 12.00 hours. Depending on the load, the time of arrival can be agreed individually.
Booking and payment
Customer can book the cottage via form on the website or by sending email with the name of the customer and the number of guests. After placing an order, the customer will get a confirmation and an invoice. If booking was done earlier than 5 weeks prior to arrival, the pre-payment 100 euro should be done in 7 days after receiving the invoice. The rest should be paid not later than 5 weeks prior to the beginning of the rental period.
If booking is done later, the whole amount should be paid right after receiving the invoice.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation is always done in a written form. If cancellation is done earlier than 60 days prior to the rental period, pre-payment is refunded. For cancellations received less than 5 weeks before the rental period, there is no refund.
If cancellation is done because of serious illness or accident happened to one of the guests or his/her relatives, the whole rent amount will be refunded to the customer except for the booking expenses and pre-payment. In this case, the owner of the cottage should be notified immediately and provided with the necessary documents.
The right to cancel the reservation
In case of force majeure, the owner of the cottage can terminate the reservation. The owner of the cottage is obligated to inform this to the customer with no delays. In this case, the customer has right to get the whole payment back.
Number of persons
The maximum number of persons in the cottage is 8. The possibility for higher number of persons should be discussed separately with the owner of the cottage. There is an extra fee for two additional persons in the cottage, which is 5 euro per person per day. Pets in the cottage should be agreed with the owner.
At the cottage
Handing over the keys is agreed right before the arrival. The rent does not include bed linen. It can be rented separately before the rental period starts with 12 euro per person fee. Toilet paper is not included into the rent. During the holiday, the customer is responsible for cleaning the cottage. Customer's responsibilities include taking out the trashes, washing the dishes, cleaning the stove, oven and outdoor grill, removing stains, putting things back where they belong. The final cleaning is done by the cottage owner or his representative.
In case of damage
The customer is responsible for safety of the cottage. All the damage done to the cottage or to the property belonging to the cottage should be paid for directly to the owner.
Complaints
The owner of the cottage or his representative should be notified of all the complaints regarding staying at the cottage. The cottage is located in the countryside, so customers have to be prepared for natural occurrences and the wildlife. The cottage owner is not responsible for any trouble caused by animals to the customers. In case of power cuts caused by natural hazards or the electricity provider, nor the cottage owner neither the customer bear any financial responsibility.
